What time does the Summer Graduate Fair open?
We open at 11am and close at 4pm.
What should I wear to the Summer Graduate Fair?
First impressions always count so dress as though you are going to an interview – employers want to picture you working for them not on campus.
What should I bring?
Some exhibitors will be collecting CVs at the event so make sure you bring several copies along with you. There is a Business Centre at ExCeL but it can be cheaper to produce extra copies at home or college.
I don’t have a CV, does that matter?
If you are not sure if your CV is good enough you can get great CV advice at the fair. You can also hand in a standard application form if you have had time to complete one in advance. Many organisations will consider this to be acceptable if you don’t have a CV.
When I get to the fair what should I do?
Before you get to The Summer Graduate Fair it is a good idea to research which companies and organisations you want to meet. Before the fair the seminar programme will be published online and you can see which seminars you want to attend. After handing in your ticket at the fair you can just wander round meeting the exhibitors, but remember to think about what you are going to say when you approach an employer and the questions they will ask you.
